Privacy Policy

Last updated: November 6, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information Webinkey.com collects when you read the site, why it is collected and the choices you have. Webinkey.com is an online guide and digital magazine. You can read every article without creating an account, and we do not sell personal information.

Who We Are

Webinkey.com is run by its Editorial Team. If you have a question about this policy, please use the Contact Us page.

Information We Collect

We collect as little information as possible. In practice, that means:

  • Technical data sent by your browser, such as your IP address, browser type and the page you requested. Our web server records this in standard server logs so the site can be delivered and protected against abuse.
  • Information you choose to send us, such as your name, email address and message when you contact us.
  • Search terms you type into the site search box. These are used only to show you matching articles.

Comments are turned off on Webinkey.com, so we do not collect comment data.

Cookies

Webinkey.com does not use advertising or tracking cookies, and no analytics service is installed. The site runs on WordPress, which sets cookies only in these cases:

  • When a site administrator or author logs in, WordPress sets login cookies that last up to two days (or two weeks if “Remember Me” is selected) and a screen-options cookie that lasts up to one year.
  • When the login page is opened, WordPress sets a temporary test cookie that holds no personal data and is removed when the browser closes.

Regular readers who do not log in receive no WordPress cookies. You can block or delete cookies at any time in your browser settings.

Page Caching

To load pages quickly, Webinkey.com uses LiteSpeed Cache. It stores ready-made copies of public pages on our server. Caching does not create a profile of you; for logged-in users it may set a small cookie that tells the server not to show a cached page.

Messages You Send Us

If you contact us, we use your name, email address and message only to read and answer your request, for example a question, a suggested topic or a correction. We keep messages only as long as needed to deal with them and do not add your address to any mailing list.

Embedded Content and External Links

Some articles may include embedded content, such as videos or images, from other websites. Embedded content behaves as if you had visited the other website, and that website may collect data about you, use cookies and track your interaction with it under its own privacy policy.

Our articles also link to outside resources, such as U.S. government consumer-protection sites. Once you leave Webinkey.com, the privacy policy of the site you visit applies.

Who We Share Data With

We do not sell, rent or trade personal information. Data is shared only with the hosting provider that runs our server, or when the law requires it.

How Long We Keep Data

Server logs are kept only for the short period needed for security and troubleshooting. Messages are kept until your request has been handled.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, or to object to how it is used. To make a request, use the Contact Us page. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on it.

Children’s Privacy

Webinkey.com is a general-audience site and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

If the way the site handles data changes, for example if a new feature is added, we will update this page and the date at the top.
